Annually, CanHepC extends fellowships to provide transdisciplinary training and stipend support to Canadian involved in hepatitis C research, who are university graduates at various stages of their academic and professional career.
A total of seven new student trainees fellowship have been awarded for 2019-2020:

- Zoe Greenwald, Phd, University of Toronto, Dalla Lana School of Public Health
- Hanna Wallace, Phd, Memorial University
- Catia Perciani, Postdoc, Toronto General Hospital Research Institute
- Andreea Adelina Artenie, Postdoc, The Kirby Institute, University of New South Wales (Australia) & Population Health Sciences Institute, University of Bristol (UK)
- Evan Cunningham, Postdoc, The Kirby Institute, University of New South Wales (Australia)
