In April 2014, I completed my B.Sc. in biopharmaceutical sciences at the University of Ottawa. By September of the same year, I started as a Master's student in Dr. Selena Sagan's laboratory at McGill University, and I have since transferred to the Ph.D. program. My project aims to improve our understanding of how the hepatitis C virus uses cellular proteins to promote its replication, with a focus on an RNA-binding protein called the poly(C)-binding protein 2 (PCBP2).
