Dr. Grebely is a Associate Professor in the Viral Hepatitis Clinical Research Program at the Kirby Institute, in the Faculty of Medicine at UNSW Australia. Jason's training and research is based in the field of epidemiology, with a specific focus on clinical epidemiology. Jason has a BSc in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and a PhD in Pharmacology and Therapeutics, both from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. He completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Clinical Epidemiology at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, under the supervision of Gregory Dore, where he now remains as an Associate Professor. Dr. Grebely is also a National Health and Medical Research Council Career Development Fellow. 

Dr. Grebely's research activities are mainly focused on the epidemiology and natural history of hepatitis C virus infection, acute hepatitis C virus infection, barriers to care for hepatitis C virus infection, and strategies for enhancing assessment and treatment of hepatitis C virus infection in people who use drugs.
